    Firefox 3.6

crashes consistently when upgrading. I then uninstalled FF and reinstalled FF-crash. I followed all the mods to Norton-crash. Installed Chrome It picked up all my bookmarks etc. and works great.

    What operating system?

I am running FF 3.6 on CentOS 5 no problems. Have not bumped WinXP to FF 3.6 yet...

No problems here, FF 3.6 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Sometimes, an uninstall/re-install only works if you remove all the profile info, IME.

I've upgraded it on 3 PCs, 2 Win7 one XP and all were painless.

LOML upgraded, XP, with no problems. I haven't done my laptop yet. The last upgrade went off OK, but I didn't like some of the changes.

Running FF 3.6 here under Linux and it is stable for me so far. There is one small annoying quirk though. I have FF setup to load 5 different websites into tabs on start up. Until 3.6 this worked well, now it only loads the first 2 tabs and stops. Closing those tabs and hitting the home button gets all 5 web sites loaded in their own tabs. Strange.

                Yahoo mail acting wierd

Since installing, Yahoo mail seems to forget about the scroll wheel on my mouse. Other FF windows and apps don't have the problem. My system is set to go on standby and these problems seem to be related. More of an annoyance than a showstopper. Other than that, no problems.

I'm running it on a Mac OS X 10.8.5 and it appears to be bullet proof, although I do think it's a bit slow.

I suggested this earlier, but I've now found this tutorial, which may help you.
