My wife needed an internet connection at her studio. We looked at various options and decided to go with upgrading her phone to a smart phone - the additional cost on the plan was a little less than high speed, plus she would have it everywhere plus she wouldn't have to fight with the other tenant who shares the space on whether he could use the service. She also gets unlimited texting which a lot of her clients use. When she went in to upgrade, it was a buy one get one free and the monthly cost is the same so..... I got a nice surprise.

A week ago I was the poster child for "I only want a phone and nothing else". Well it was nice (but a bit slow) to view the specs on my mower while I was out testing some things today. It was also nice to take a quick pic of the PM66 refurb and send it to my brother.

That's where I've been...just a phone...nothing fancy. Our last upgrade LOML went from a Razr to something supposedly better. I could take her old Razr to upgrade. I'm thinking it might be cool to have a camera/phone.

My new gizmo replaced a Razr. I was getting a new phone in a few weeks anyway. The battery on the Razr was shot, and other weird things were happening. It was also dropping calls.

I haven't heard if they've come up with a clever euphemism for the iPhone yet, but I agree completely. I used to want a watch that told time and a phone that made calls. Now it's my phone, watch, GPS, and perpetual tether to the office.

LOML liked the Razr, and it was trouble free. She just likes change. You should see how many purses she has.
