    The Lone Ranger

    Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their
Tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, 'Kemo Sabe, look
Towards sky, what you see? '

'The Lone Ranger replies, 'I see millions of stars.'

'What that tell you?' asked Tonto.

The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says, 'Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning. Theologically, the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What's it tell you, Tonto?'

'You dumber than buffalo chips. It means someone stole the tent.'

That was good. Reminds me of the one where the Lone Ranger and Tonto are surrounded by Indians and the Lone Rager says to Tonto, "Kemo Sabe(spelling) what should be do?" and Tonto responds "What do you mean we, white man".

      That one deserves an award.

One of my favorites is a Far Side cartoon, which shows Tonto holding two horses out in front of an outhouse. The caption reads:

"Must hurry Ke-mo Sah-bee...music is starting".

That was voted the second best joke in the world a few years ago...

        I like this also-ran:

A doctor says to his patient, “I have bad news and worse news”.

“Oh dear, what's the bad news?” asks the patient.

The doctor replies, “You only have 24 hours to live.”

“That's terrible”, said the patient. “How can the news possibly be worse?”

The doctor replies, “I've been trying to contact you since yesterday.”

Good thread. It's not often you can get more than one laugh in a thread.
