Probably a rash of restraint-of-trade lawsuits...

She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

This is a silly way of doing it though. My guess is most folks who have IE and are used to it will still continue to use it and it won't change much.

That's about it. We don't use IE at all.

LOML was on a specialized jobs board the other day, the board had a rotating banner ad, she left IE up and running, and not sure which, but one of those banners included virus code, by the time she noticed, the firmware on the mainboard was corrupted. I managed to reset back to factory settings, but now have handed her a CentOS 5.4 PC for temporary use while I try to flush the (obscenity deleted) virus out of there...

This is the second virus in 2 years she has gotten. I have NEVER gotten a virus. The whole unfriendly to virus environment thing...

I'm sure Microsoft is doing this out of their sense of fair play....oh, and maybe a few potential lawsuits.
