Anybody got their federal tax refund back?

I always file by mail the first week in February, and have always gotten the FED refund by the first week in March. (I use it to pay the state taxes I owe).

But this year, when I checked here:

I presumed they were holding out due to gov't being so broke this year.

There were issues this year with many E-filed returns due to the Work Tax Credit.
The IRS has a website that tells you when to expect your return, just enter your SS# and refund amount. They update the site on Wed evenings. Many people had 1-2 week delays as many refunds were kicked by the system to audits based on the tax credit not being calculated correctly.

I filed electronically yesterday. The status as of this morning is "accepted", so I should see the refund in 10-12 days.

I hate this time of year...taxes, FAFSA, kid's taxes, foot dragging, hair pulling, and lots of nagging! (not to mention cabin fever!)

I got my state refund within 5 days--a new record! (Our state must not be as broke as CA, or they would have issued me an IOU...)

Federal refund should be here by March 9. Not too bad I guess.

I got my refund last year. Probably won't get one this year.
