    Favorite Winter Olympic Events?

What events do you look forward to seeing or really enjoy?

    Mine:
    Any "sliding" (bobsled, luge, skeleton)
    Freestyle skiing
    Biathlon
    Snowboard snowcross
    Any speedskating
    Ski Jump

Mine, more or less in order:

    1. Curling (No, I am not kidding.)
    2. Alpine skiing
    3. Short-track speed skating
    4. Biathlon
    5. Cross-country skiing
    6. Long-track speed skating
    7. Ski jumping/flying

I don't really care about freestyle skiing, snowboarding, or figure skating. I do watch some of the sliding sports but don't get a lot out of it. And while I was positively glued to the "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" coverage back in 1980, I can't claim to be much of a hockey fan.

My favorite is snowboard cross. After that, the alpine skiing, then short-track speed skating After that I don't watch much else except the hockey.

I pretty much like them all except when it's OK for the men to wear ostrich feathers, or where the style requires the contestants to wear baggy ill fitting snow suits.

That snowboard cross is really fun to watch. LOML is not a big olympics fan, but she loved watching that. I like the luge, ski jump and curling.

Yeah, the snowboard cross was pretty cool.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Biathlon... because it involves gun powder!

Have to say, Curling, even before seeing the pictures of Madeleine Dupont, then Hockey, Snowboarding and all those sliding down the hill fast enough to fly even if one were on a conveyor belt.

Forget all those that are set to music, speed skating is the only one that is worth watching, hmmm, don't remember music there either.

Once I did the reasearch on Curling and uderstood the scoring, I have enjoyed the matches. Any thing on skis or on runners and going fast I like. Hockey Ok, Figure Skating to much politics.
