    2nd Car

We have been a 1 car family for a couple years and it hasn't been working so we went car shopping yesterday.
We are very happy with our Hyundai Santa Fe so the Hyundai dealer was our first and as it turned out our only stop. LOML drove home in a new Hyundai Elantre Touring, a really sweet little car.

    Looks sharp!

Back in the day we used to joke about Hyundai cars, but they make some absolutely superb machines now. We've been eying the Genesis lately -- very very impressive!

My daughter drives a 2008 Elantra I bought for her new in mid 2008. It is a little over 1 1/2 years old and has had no issues. I hope yours works similarly.

Very nice looking car. I bought a 2008 Sonata and put 30,000 miles on it last year. I bought it as a disposable, high milage car just for commuting. Not so much as a whisper of an issue with it and I really like driving it. It doesn't do too well in the snow but otherwise a fantastic little car.

When we went car hunting we drove a Genesis 2dr coupe V6, 6 speed stick. It was a hot rod. They have a great warranty.

Dick, nice car, but I must say I am a little amused. I remember when you wanted to simplify so you sold the house, boat, shop, etc and moved to a retirement place. Now you are married, with a house, a shop and another car.

Does this mean that your "shop" is now going to become a garage again?

LOL. Sounds like a few people I know that wanted to downsize, and ended up in a larger house.

If I read his post right, they went from one car to two new ones.

We traded the Beetle in on a Hyundai Santa Fe last year and just now added a 2nd Hyundai.

Is my shop going to make room for a car? I'll see if I can squeeze it in today, if not it will reside outside.

Way to go Whaler!!! Your priorities are not compromised. "Is my shop going to make room for a car?" Good call.

My wife drives a Hyundai Sante Fe as well. When we trade it in it will be another Hyundai.
