I was excited that the Vikes and #4 won. I have never been much of a Vikings fan, but I have always been a Favre fan. Sorry Texas, but I have never liked the Cowboys, especially under the current ownership.
I am rooting for the Colts, who I have cheered on his Johnny Unitas played. I would love to see Colts Vs Vikiings in the Super Bowl.
I was rooting for Arizona over the Saints. I wanted to see Kurt Warner in one more Super Bowl. What a great man and a great quarterback. I think he will retire this year.
Go Chiefs! Oops, I mean keep trying Chiefs.

I always get a laugh when someone calls Favre a Prima Donna. As a life-long Vikings fan I spent many years rooting against him, but I just can't reconcile the name Prima Donna with a guy who is as tough as nails like Favre. Prima Donnas do not set the record for most consecutive games played and started.
Favre did get knocked on his backside - several times, not counting the three sacks. The reason he didn't get sacked six times like Romo is because he didn't get the deer in the headlights look in his eyes and start bailing out of the pocket every time he caught sight of a defensive lineman.
Lots of names could (and have) been used for Favre, but Prima Donna oughtn't be one of them.Doug Kerfoot

I don't think there are any PD's in the NFL. At least not at QB. Maybe the Heisman winner Danny Wurfel. I remember he played in one game for the Saints a while back and he was getting leveled by the defense. One tackle in particular actually turned his helmet sideways on his head and he was looking out through the earhole. I thought to myself, Welcome to the NFL, Danny. He is a great guy, but didn't last long after that. I still give him an attaboy for trying. He did survive the SEC, just not the NFL. Still, not a PD.LeeComment

Danny Wuerffel is anything but a PD. He's a great person. Not a really mobile QB, but few are. He just didn't have much of a line in front of him. With a couple thousand pounds of guys in your face every play who are he11-bent on killing you, it's pretty easy to call it a career.Comment

With all due respect, I think we Wisconsinites are experts on Favre, and while I would not use the word prima donna with him, he does have an ego and has historically had some issues with management and, of course, more recently with waffling re' his retirement.
I am sure Minnesota will want to sign him up for another year, but eventually they will have to face the same situation that GB faced 2 years ago, and it'll be fascinating to see how that goes...
Having said that, I used to live in MN and still like the old guy and WILL BE PULLING FOR THE VIKINGS NEXT WEEK!Jeff

As I'm always rooting against the Cowboys and for the Vikings, that was as sweet as it could get. I was rather surprised as the Vikings usually flop at the end of the season. I guess this year they just got their flop out of the way before the season was over.Comment
