    Its's The Ice Age!!!

The news last night had a story where some flights out of Tampa FL were delayed yesterday morning because they needed de-icing. Problem is, the Tampa airport has no equipment to do this, so they had to wait for the sun to come up.

If they wait long enough - with Global Warming, etc., it will no longer be a problem - at least according to Al Gore.

Actually global warming will screw up the weather all over. It may well mean that Fairbanks has a warm winter and Iguana Popsicles are common. It's over the whole earth warmer on average not necessarily warmer where you live. Then throw into the mix the changing weather do to the tilt of the earth, a 20K year cycle and all the hot air from the politicians....

        Bill,
now getting off of his soapbox....

I haven't exactly nailed it down yet, but over the years I have observed a pattern of decreasing temperatures around the start of the year followed by increasing temperatures in the middle of the year. Also, there seems to be a pattern of an increase in solar activity around noontime, followed by a marked decrease by around midnight.

            Weird, I know...

Weird things happen. Every now and then our comfortable gray wet sky dries out and turns a strange shade of blue with a big yellow thing in it and it gets all hot out. Wonder what causes that, probably that global warming thing.....

Scott, at first I thought that was a round vent on a roof. The snow throws off the scale.

Before global warming, it probably would have been too cold to snow!

She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Two things would happen. First, the heat inside the house would be too extreme, and secondly, an exit to the outside where its below freezing would be needed to neutralize the nuclear blast.

It's *global* warming, not local warming.

Spooky -- I see that big yellow thing sometimes too. And whenever I look at it for too long it hurts my eyes! Maybe it's a UFO.

                              (thanks for the laugh!)
