Why do we live here again?

It's -28F which is -33C right now and that doesn't include windchill. I've got 10 sheets of sheetrock to put up today and I'm not looking forward to going out to get them off the truck.

We have it bad here also. Right now it's 51 deg F, and may go up to the high 60's or low 70's.

I really feel for you c-man. Try coming here. We convert things to metric and make it sound even colder! That doesn't help the positive thinking at all!

Chris, why do you live up there? We are looking at a week or so of highs in the upper 30s and while those temps are not all that unusual, having them for more than 3 or 4 days is. You should move down here.

I have no idea why you live there, but I sure wish you'd shut the door! Because of you, it's getting down around zero at night here.

My daughter moved to Melbourne, Australia recently, where today's forecast is for...83 degrees.

I may have to follow my daughter's lead on this one...

Here in Alaska it is going to be in the teens to lower 20's. Keep the cold!

Just wait till it hits -40. Then you won't have to convert!

Why do we live here? The cold keeps the riff-raff out!

Besides look at all the poor folks down South who never get to drive their cars on a lake or do the "fun" winter demos (coffee thrown into the air, blowing bubbles, pounding nails with the banana, etc.).

23, but feels like 11 right now. Been cold the past few days. Glad no snow though. Just a few inches on the ground.

Yeah but when it is 83 where you are it will be cold where she is. Unless of course she is on the northern coast. That has got to take some getting used to eh? Going north to get warm?
