I also applied at 62, I screwed up the on-line form and gave them my gross income, not net. Called them and was told to come in in 2-3 days. Did that, fixed my f*** up and even had the woman I delt with apologize for making me wait the 2-3 days and the 10 minutes in the office.

Now THAT'S THE WAY THE ENTIRE GOVT. SHOULD WORK.

Wife got a package in the mail today from SS office containing forms (3 sets) to fill out to determine her disability qualification and level. She will take them to her lawyer's office for copies and mailing. Maybe going thru a lawyer is helping get some action.
