Assuming that it's just surface rust on that Ridgid, why not? Those are good saws...Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

Give us info on what your using now, for a better idea. Good price, but may not be a bargain. She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.Comment

The second link has been deleted. If the saw works and all the parts are there, it's a fair price.

Curious to see if you had a look Tommy. If that saw is running... the fence mechanism is working.. I would jump on it for $100 if this saw would be considered an up-grade for you. John White (the former Shop Manager for FWW magzine) tested one years ago and at that time considered the Ridgid the top of line contractor of which I had to agree.
It's a very good contractor saw as contractor saws go. I was not crazy about the webbed table but that is very live-able and I certainly wouldn't sweat the rust as Bar Keepers friend is my friend and we work well together. Even if the rust is deep enough that it has pitted the top... so what? That is only a cosmetic issue and will have absolutely no bearing on how the saw can preform and that particular model will perform as proven by the many that purchased it.
If you are not interested... PM me as I live not far from the Hamilton Mill area and I will have a look. As stated.. if the motor is running and the fence is OK $100 and a little sweat labor can turn the saw into a $300 nice one and I would personally consider taking the plunge for re-sale to make a quick buck for wood... more wood... always more wood!

Just FWIW, For $100.00 on that Ridgid saw, if it was here in the Houston area and nobody else got to it before it, I would snag it, I love my BT mind you, but my BIL burnt up a BTS10 and needs a new saw... Make a great Christmas present after a good cleaning...Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment
