I just wanted to thank you guys for making me laugh so hard I choked on my coffee.

I've spent the last half hour at the lab slogging through a 25 year old paper entitled "Regulation of the Mammalian Collagenases." When I go back to it, I'm gonna be thinking about llamas the entire time - maybe it'll make the reading go faster, or at least more humorously. It'll certainly make my labmates ask me why I'm snickering while reading a paper.

I had an uncle get attack by a deer. He was actually sitting in his living room and heard a racket at the front door. A deer was bashing his screen door. He went to the door to chase it off. The deer backed up a little bit and when my uncle went outside to shoo it away, it attacked him. My aunt grabbed a broom and started beating on the deer. I would pay anything to have a video of that! The deer finally ran across the highway and got hit by a car. It got up and ran off. I saw a deer a few weeks later with a broken leg, and I didn't mess with it.
