    Yup, LOML is a keeper

She was out in the shop yesterday and noticed that when I used the extension cord for my ROS it seemed to be a constant battle of it getting hungup and just generally a hassle pulling it around the floor.

So, she comes back from Sears today and hands me a package. In it is a hanging retractable extension cord. She said she saw it there and remembered the problems I had and decided to get it for me.

    I think I'll keep her a while.

Mine looked at me Friday after work and asked me if we were going to Harbor Freight to get the compressor and nail gun I have been wanting. (She was the one that mentioned that gee, that electric isn't doing the job well...).

Having a good wife is pure joy. I have had the other kind of wife, and that was, well... Not pleasant.

My wife usually just hollers out the bathroom window into the shop. She is kinda scared to come come out there....too many bugs, dust, gun powder and other things men enjoy for her own comfort.

Yes, my dad and I both reload. My shop is neater than his, and we only live a few miles apart, so it all lives at my house. I haven't reloaded 270, but might very well have the dies to do so. Not sure what all dads got out there. I know we have 30-06, 38 / 357, 45 long colt, 45 ACP, 45-70, 45-100, 6.5x55, 22-250 and0.5 S&W 500 mag. Those are the ones we shoot all the time, but there are some others out there. Based on availability and cost, if I didn't reload, I couldn't shoot, especially now with all the prices going nuts over the past 18 months or so.

Your wife got you a retractable extension cord for your shop but mine got me a shop for my retractable extension cord.

Actually, she does sound like a keeper.

My ex did the same for me once upon a time... Then, while I was out there, she had the locks changed on the house...
