    I Found The Wire Strippers

They were on the miter saw, sitting under an offcut. How they got there I have no idea since at the time I lost them I was doing wiring, not cutting wood.

Shop gremlins. I have at least two that sneak in after I turn the lights out and move things around on me.

        :-) that's what I was thinking.

I've got about three pair of Nippy cutters though as someone keeps hiding them.

Somewhere in my shop is a freshly sharpened, still has the protective coating on it WW2 blade...somewhere. When I get done with this project it is time for a major cleaning, reorg in the shop. Just think of the treasures I stand to find.

you know I found about 1/4 of the small stuff I was looking for while I cleaned up my shop a few weeks ago, so much so that I need to get some of those magnetic tool holders.

                    maybe it was El Chupaherramienta?
                    or
                    El Esconderalicates?

Good thing you found it. Maybe the Twilight Zone music won't play after all. But this is a good idea for a forum game. Every time someone loses or misplaces a tool, we all guess where it is.

Would this also apply when you start to look for a tool, get side tracked, and then can't remember what tool you were looking for in the first place??

Maybe part A ran off with part B to go catalyze.

It would seem that it got Crokett's goat.
I can always find anything when I am not looking for it when I need something it disappears. I think that is tied in somehow to Murphy's law.
