Canadian Thanksgiving

This is our Thanksgiving weekend here in the Great White North. Today I cooked a big dinner for my family and also had mum over. We're all cleaned up now and waiting for dinner to digest enough to move a little. This weekend we also celebrate my daughters birthday. Thant means we had a huge cake for after dinner.

So here's wishing all my friends a happy Canadian Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We always celebrated on Sunday because on the States side of the river they didn't give you Monday off from work and we would go over to Canada for a Saturday dinner. I always enjoyed having two Thanksgivings, twice the pumpkin pie!

Oh that's easy, when they celebrate Leif Erickson Day with Columbus Day sales in the states it's Thanksgiving in the great white north.
