Happens to airplane mechanics (which is why each airplane has to be x-rayed for "FOD" [foreign object debris] as it goes through assembly)... so why not us? But this reminds me of a saying my mom had: "The house doesn't lose anything" - and that extends to the shop. It just might take a while to find that misplaced tool, but unless you walked out with it, it will be there somewhere.

The wire strippers aren't on the ladder. Looked twice. They also aren't up on top of the lights. They aren't in the ceiling. It is buttoned up tight and there is no way they could be. the new ones work better anyway, I was out there last night. They are new so they are sharp plus they have a bent nose that strips the sheathing off. Very handy for getting inside the boxes. I probably will find the old ones at some point when I get everything put away.David
