I used to do both, depending on the situation, quit both smokes about 7 years ago and chew about 5. It is kind of funny because it has now been long enough that I don't even notice the displays at the gas stations anymore.
WanyeJ, good for you and I will pray for you and your wife....tobacco is one tough cookie to kick, both physically and more so psychologically.
Congrats to the others who have kicked the habit and those who haven't yet please give it another shot or reconsider the benefits. My buddy has a counter on his PC that shows how many days he's been smoke free and how much he as saved...he just went over the $10,000 mark after about 5 years. That is a lot of shop tools.

. I will actually try and quit smoking. I have done it before when I was pregnant but I picked it back up because of some issues in the family and I wasn't strong enough to resist. I am going to quit and I am hoping that for Christmas or my birthday that my family and friends will think about getting me a gym membership.
(yes that was a hint for Mark when he reads this).
