Guess I wont get much shoptime...

Guess I wont get much shoptime anytime soon since we just invited this little princess into our lives, but I really don't care, right now I'm just so happy, proud, excited and whatever other emotion you feel when you just become a parent (and this is our first one) and I just wanted to share this happy event with you guys.

    It's an amazing adventure. Congrats.

But yeah, spare time becomes a rare thing for a while.

What a little cutie! That's about the only worthy excuse for missing shop time...

An adorable sleeping (quiet) baby. A future woodworker admirer. Sooner or later you'll be building something for her. What's her name?

She is a gorgeous little girl. Get ready for the best adventure of your lives. Oh and catch up on your sleep. You are gonna need it.

She is a little princess. The best shop time is coming. I have 4 grandkids 5-8 and my best shop time is when they are out there with me.

Thank you all. Her name is Camilla. We can not express how happy we are, and it doesn't matter the slightest that she kept us up from 2AM - 5.30AM last night. Under normal circumstances I would be very cranky this time of the morning if I hadn't slept most of the night, but just looking at her face .... ok ok I know, I need a bib

Congrats Jesper! Welcome to parenting....the loss of sleep gets easier so hang in there. No matter what happens, there will be another day, just remember that when/if your child ever pushes you beyond your capabilities, you'll find what you need. As for woodworking, eh, you can still squeeze some time here and there. May I suggest a rocking horse project for Christmas 2011? Congrats again to you and your wife!

Congrats! You may find your upcoming shop time gravitating toward projects for the new wee one. Especially things that rock - cradles, horses, chairs, etc.
