He was one we didn't want to see go. But quite possibly he felt differently. R.I.P. Patrick.

As an avid M.A.S.H. fan, Patrick will be missed. He played a guest role as a patient in the 4077th in one of my favorite episodes. As a young, then unkown actor, he showed real talent in portraying a lightly injured soldier (broken arm) who was given blood tests to see if he could donate blood to a seriously wounded comrade. The scenes where he is being consulted by Dr. Pierce regarding the surprise diagnosis of early stage Leukemia was truly moving, and one of the truly great moments in American Television acting.

Following that up with Dirty Dancing, and then Ghost showed his range...

A pity there aren't more like him.

With pancreatic cancer, he knew his days were numbered. He still fought against the disease and continued to work nearly to the end.

He made some good movies but we lost a talent that could have made many more.

He was a great actor. My favorites were Road House, Point Break, and Red Dawn.

Good actor, sorry to see he has passed. I think it was the 70's or 80's that he starred in "North and South", civil war series. One of my favorite TV miniseries.

We enjoyed his acting as well, with Point Break being one of our favs.
