US Air Force 1966-1971, Communications-Electronics Officer mostly at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. I have two honorable discharges, one as a Staff Sergeant, the other as a Captain.

I served in the Air Force for 25 years, I didn't want to make a career of it and be a 30 year man.
Actually, I got out because the outfit I was in was moving to North Dakota and I never left anything there to go back and get.
I was in aircraft maintenance and served in Japan (twice), Okinawa, Philippines, Iceland, Florida, Arkansas, Delaware and Texas.
      Retired in 1986.
I have two grendsons in the Army, one just completed Basic training, the other is an E5 in Afghanistan.

Chuck, when were you in Keflavic? I was at the Marine Barracks Aug '71 to Aug 72'.

That is one of the places I want to revisit...In the Summer! Wish I could find a place to buy Scampi!

          It was OK.

Special Agent, U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps '59 to '62. Sounds exciting but actually pretty boring most of the time.

If serving in a foreign country military qualifies for this category, then yes.

            1969 - 6 SAI - Infantry Officer

            1970 -1975 - RLI
