    How Time Flies

I dropped my oldest off today for her first day of Kindergarten. I still remember when she fit between my elbow and my fingertips.

Yep, my grandaughter just started a couple weeks ago too.
I wish her mom would grow up someday.

Next year I'll be doing the same thing. My wife & I looked back at pictures from when our oldest started pre-school last year & were amazed at how much he changed over the year.

Haven't you ever seen Cirque du Soliel? It's really just a matter of how you fold her...

My oldest just started senior year of high school. Doesn't seem so long ago that I was fixing her formula (and then having it spit up on me.) She was 20 inches at birth, and is now ~5ft-10. I'm sure you don't need a reminder that time flies, and soak up every minute.

Not sure if saying this is a good thing or not, but one of my best friends from high school is now a grandfather... I haven't even had my first kid yet... Depressing when you think about it.

I used to hold #1 Son in one hand. Now he's a 270 lb. college freshman. As the frog says: "Time's fun when you're havin' flies…"

Now, imagine when she presents you with your first grandchild, she has her 30th birthday, your grandchild starts middle school. Enjoy the journey and all of its mileage markers. Even the tough ones are morth the trouble when you look back.
                    God bless you and yours!
                    Blessings,
                    Chiz

I've been thinking the same thing a lot lately, crokett. Mine are about the same ages as yours are.

I Have 2 in school and 1 still at home. Part of me is glad that they are getting older, because they are starting to show interest in somethings I enjoy. However, its terrible because they are now out in the word, and it seems as though so much of the world is full of bad that I hate for them to experience that bad and that the wife and I can't always shield them from it.
