    bad day for some one

this morning I got an e-mail from the legal services provider I subscribe to.
Basically it said Dear Network Attorney, we misprinted some checks and have issued new checks and stopped payment, etc. etc.etc. (basically here's what to do if you get two checks or no checks...)

Later today I got another e-mail from them saying, sorry we sent out emails to the wrong list, plaase ignore. Basically they wanted to mail news on their goof to employees mail list but mailed to their customers list instead.

I won't name the group but somebody had a series of Boo boos.

I sure hope their legal services are better than that.

No worse than the Attny's office that kept faxing private medical records to me as part of a case they are handling. They were trying to fax my voice line and tried endlessly for days which really annoyed me. I got tired of it and hooked the all-in-one up to grab the fax. Then I contacted them to ask why they were sending this to me... I never had a reply but I never had any more fax calls.

I am not a lawyer but it seems to me if that attorney was sending unrequested private medical records to you, then it seems to me that there could be a malpractice suit in there somewhere if the person whose records were divulged ever got wind of what went on. Medical records privacy is a big deal nowadays. Just my .02
