    Facebook Question

Well I stepped into the abyss last night. So now I have a question - is there any way to link to photos from say photobucket, or do I have to upload them separately?

You are going to have to wait a bit. Twitter and Facebook are both currently undergoing a DDoS according to news reports.

There is probably a facebook app to bring them over, it depends on the photo sharing site though. I use SmugMug (much, much nicer than photobucket, but has a yearly subscription fee) and there are apps for facebook that show the smugmug photos. I'd imagine that other photo sharing sites do as well, but I've never looked.

I checked my Photobucket site and I can share pics direct to Facebook. It didn't occur to me to check there.

          thanks.

I am no big fan of Photobucket due to what I see in the forums...

"This image has been moved or deleted..."

            So sick of that.

              There goes the neighborhood.

Since I joined, I've been amazed at how many people from my past have come out of the woodwork! It's been a lot of fun to reconnect with some of them.

And not so much with others I bet...

Anyone know how to block specific users from contacting you?

                  Yep. You bet right.

You can just ignore them if you want to be mysterious or rude (and of course that's just fine sometimes! ), or if you want to be slightly more polite, accept their friendship, then later undo it. They'll be notified that you accepted, but they won't be notified when they're "unfriended".

Long story that I don't cry over but I haven't bothered with Facebook before now because there aren't all that many folks from my past that I wanted to connect with.
