Whats wrong with people these days?

The girl I share an office with went through this last night, she tried to get out but got cornered in a bathroom for 30 minutes til the police cleared the area. She was lucky and didn't get hurt.

There have always been violent lunatics. The only change has been the speed of sensationalism of the media. Now we know about it, worldwide, almost within minutes.

Site is unavailable. What he did qualifies him as a fruit loop. It's scary really to think how easy a maniac can cause chaos.

I disagree. True, the media makes it more obvious, but I still believe the incidence of violent anti-social behavior is rising. I cannot express my views as to why because they are both political and religious.

Those parts have to be downloaded. I checked the site again, and it's up.

At the core of it, we may agree more than you think. But the basics of what happened have always been since the first generations of humans. Like you said though, the details must be left out as they would tread directly into political and religious thought.

I'm still not sure if it is getting worse though. We do hear about more occurrences with the way our media handles information, and there are probably more incidences. I would like to see how the number of incidences translates to per capita.

There has always been nut cases out there, but I think the percentages of nut jobs isn't changing so much. We've got a lot more people around so the amount of nut jobs and their incidences goes up.

I don't know if the number of shootings by mal-adjusted loners is going up. I'm pretty sure there are now more washed-up pop stars dying by accidental drug overdose. There also seem to be more doctors killing pop stars due to accidental drug overdose.

                        Them're scientific facts.

I could not get the site, but reading the text files made me very deeply and intensely sad.

Sad for him for feeling so abandoned, sad for his immediate family for all they could have done. But really sad for his innocent victims - caught in a tragic wrong-place, wrong-time.

I wish we could all be more aware of our fellow beings, and wish we could help unasked...

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics:
Since 1994, violent crime rates have declined, reaching the lowest level ever recorded in 2005.

Reading that text was downright nauseating...

Sorry to say it, but from his diatribes it is plenty obvious why he had troubles with women...

Poor me, poor me, boo hoo my life sucks it's all women's fault...

I'm sorry he didn't get the help he desperately needed before he harmed innocent people...
