        I went to a very good small college, and getting a job was my responsibility not theirs. Having said that though, I admit frustration with their placement office. I wonder what percentage of college graduates get jobs throught their placement offices? I would think the percentage is small. Ours were criticized by some of my professors.

        The lawsuit is bunk, but the frustration I can understand.

          According to her filing, her complaint wasn't even that the college wasn't contacting potential employers, it was that they "weren't making sure" the employers were calling the graduates. How exactly does she expect a college to force an employer to call all their graduates for an interview? Especially in this economy when layoffs are still being announced left and right and hiring freezes are the norm. Completely disconnected from reality. What I don't understand is why someone can't refuse to even allow her to file the paperwork.

            I think she would have a better case suing the college for not giving her an education. Just present the news story as evidence.
