    Maytag. Yep. Despite their ads, etc, I do not like that brand. Too many folks I know had one fail. And not just once.

    AS for TVs, looking on the net, Phillips is not too reliable either.

            Our washer and dryer are Maytags and are nearly 20 years old. I recently put a new tub seal in the washer and the lady manning the parts shop stated that Maytags made after the Whirlpool acquisition do not have the design and build quality they used to.
