    Yuengling

Is a tasty beer. When I travel I like to try beers I can't get at home. Last week I picked Schellz? Schells? Anyhoo, some craft brewer out of MN. I picked wrong. The beer was too hoppy. A lot of microbrewers thinks lots of hops=good beer. Anyway, one reason I am glad I am back home is the Yeungling in my fridge.

I like Yuengling also and I don't usually like light beer.

Yuengling does have a good balance for a domestic brew.

To be fair Tom, Yuengling is a Lager, not THAT light a beer. I do like it as well, and it is common in my area, so it's a good back up for those places sans Guinness.

When I do have a beer I like Molsen Canadian. Though at one point I was fond of Pete's wicked winter brew (no longer made). I also enjoy JW Dundee's Honey Brown (High Falls Brewery.)

What Keith said. Yuengling is a lager, not an ale. I define a 'light' beer as one with less calories and less taste. Yuengling does make a light version that is actually pretty good.

I'm a big fan of Yuengling. Very available in my neck of the woods. Need to take the tour some day.

(Many don't realize that it's the oldest operating brewery in America.)

I like Yuengling's lager just fine, but what I really like is their Black & Tan. Easily among my top 10 domestics.

We just recently started getting Yuengling available in this area, however I have drank it before, and I do like the Black and Tan.

It's one of the best "cheap" beers available, and often finds its way into my fridge.

My first outing with my wife (before we started dating) was a tour of the
Yuengling factory. Call ahead to make sure they are actually bottling on the
day you go. We got the full tour but it would have been cooler if the
                      machines were running.

Going to school and living in Philly, I've definitely had my fair share of their
                      beer.

Very tasty beer that Yuengling. Can't get it here in Ohio last I checked. I'm a big fan of all the Sam Adams beers. Also try the beers from Great Lakes Brewery. They're based out of Cleveland, some of their better beers can be bought around the U.S.

You can't get it in Ohio. I, however, can get it in NC at the corner gas station. We drive to Indiana at Christmas and when we go I always bring along some to give to my BIL and the husband of one of my wife's friends.

I've heard some of you extol the tastiness of this Yeungling before. Gotta admit I'm a bit envious, as I can't get it here.

Oh well, guess i'll have to settle for one of the 100+ Oregon brews...I'm sure one of them is as tasty as this Yeungling (and easier to spell!).

Never seen it in Michigan, but a friend brought me a six-pack back from a trip to PA. Very good. Wish we could get it here. Label said that it was the oldest operational brewrey in the U.S.
