Thanks for all your help. I decided to pass on this for the reasons that you all said. As it turned out, I found a beautiful 2000 Taurus for just a little more money for sale by a reputable dealer. The look on my 16 year old's face was priceless when he saw the car we purchased. Thanks again for all of your help.
