    My Brother

has one last home purchase to be renovated, and I and My Son have been elected to do it.

We couldn't start on it till this week because it couldn't start intil His divorce was

final. It was final on His Birthday, June 30th, He said it was the best Birthday Present

He had ever received. They had been married for 33 years. She got the home, value

$750,000.00 and 5 rental properties, and a check for $174,000.00. He got His office

building, His Bed & Breakfast and 13 rental houses.

We are removing hardwood in areas to patch up bad areas, they had 2 old dogs inside the

home and they urinated everywhere. After patching We will sand them, then construct

some walls and then wait for plumber and electrician to do the rough in.

He is doing this to try tp get Me out of My funk. Bill

I don't know your brother or ex-SIL but I bet he does better with his rentals than she does.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

Probably goes without say that the place probably smells terrible. Wear respirators when doing anything that creates any amount of dust.
Breathing dried dog urine particles cannot be healthy.

It isn't good at all. It gives you weird urges when you see a fire hydrant or car tire...

            Now that's funny

Good luck getting the smell out. We had an apartment with the same problem and wound up sealing the hardwood floor with lots of polyurethane and laying a laminate over it. Smell is gone but the look is gone too.

As for the funk, I have a solution for that too, she is in the shower at the moment but I'm not sharing

It has been vacant over a year, Brother bought in November. It has had fans going and

windows open since February, it's not too bad. Bill
