I need to get some plywood and I don't want to get it wet while delivery. For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to catch an hour with no chance of rain, so far with no luck. All the time it is either raining or threatening to rain any minute. Since the beginning of the month we had about 4 times the normal monthly amount of rain. I will gladly take a day of 100+ as long as its a dry heat. I am tired of pumping excess water out of the pool.

Hey,
Anyone know if they switched NY with Oregon, it's rained almost every day this June.
Reminds me of Nam in the rainy season, and I hate being wet.

It hit a blistering 73f for 1 hour here today. The fog is rolling in now.
Cabman, what was the humidity when it was 104? I can tolerate triple digits at 15%, 90f at 80% is misearable.Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas EdisonComment

Rain? I remember my ol' Daddy telling me about that stuff one time. Claimed he actually saw it rain in Texas one time!I need to get some plywood and I don't want to get it wet while delivery. On a serious note, it hit 101 yesterday with the humidity around 40%, just 1 degreee off the record set in '53. On the positive side, if your coffee cool from the AC, leave it on the dash when you go in a store. It will heat up before you come out!
Right now(9:30PM) it's 90.Last edited by Pappy; 06-23-2009, 09:01 PM.Don, aka Pappy,
