If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Maybe you should go visit 'Stumpy' and explain the poor decision he's making in selling that to anyone. Lord forbid someone hurt themselves and remembered where they purchased it. The lawyers would have a field day....

I don't see a power cord -- maybe it's just ornamental... like a garden gnome.

Miter saw
Actually the saw I described actually got me once. I was cutting brush with it into 6' lengths at my daughters house so the city would pick it up curbside. I still had the guard with it then. I found out why you don't wear gloves around power tools. The blade was free spinning after a cut and it caught the glove on my little finger (my little finger is naturally short so it never fills out a glove to the end) and pulled my hand into the blade. The glove and my fingers stopped the blade, but I had a gash on my middle and ring finger and a pretty good hunk out of the little finger. It was sore, but no permant damage. I use a lot of caution using any saw, particularly a miter saw now. That is why I was quick to throw it out when the guard shattered.
