Was this designed by a Concerned Parent or a dominatrix?

I am sure one would go to jail for child abuse if they used one.

well, i thought this couldn't be real either but it's on all the news outlets:

43 Sons and daughters of prison staff on "Take your son/daughter to work day" were zapped by corrections officers with a 50,000V stun gun and others tear gassed in the prison facilities in Fla.

What is wrong with some people? Who thought it would be a good idea to shock children, well actually anybody with stun guns? The only difference between a child and an adult is at least with the adult you can ask and they understand the consequences if they approve of getting themselves zapped.

A couple years ago management had a RIF planned and had set the date to bring the employees in and break the news to them...until...someone pointed out to them that "Take your son/daughter to work day" might not be the best choice.

So did they change the RIF to the day before or the day after???

According to the news stories, the parents agreed to it.

They are just after your money. Save it and buy duct tape, much cheaper and many more uses.

I think it's hilarious. It might make a good deterrent, too. "Here son, I picked up this 20 lb ball and chain in case you decide not to take your homework as seriously as I think you should. "
