I agree with you - they are ugly. But it is a creative use for a grocery cart. Maybe he can leave the wheels on and have a mobile chair.

I wonder how long it will take their local grocery store to figure out where their carts are going.

I hope it's stainless wire. Can you imagine what a PITA they would be to strip and paint??? Would probably need a sandblaster and a HVLP rig.

Keep them in Texas. Although the pink one could go to Florida since it looks perfect for a fake flamingo yard...

At first glance I thought they were ugly but then I saw the pink one, that changed everything! they are works of art!!

Personally, I think they look okie dokie. Put some fancy cushions on them and a guy could sell a million, especially if they are powder coated with UV protectant coating. The only things I see lacking are the drink holders and the grill under the footrest. A guy with one of these can kill a bunch of birds while relaxing.

                        Hey Don.
Probably make great grills for a barbecue.
Looks way to uncomfortable to sit on, might be good for Iraqi interrogations. (water grilling?)

Put runners on them and then sell them as redneck idiotarod racers! Hook them to a few beer fed hound dogs!

This could be the start of something famous: Austin - Houston or Austin - San Antonio Red Neck Idiotarod races!

                            Is it just me?

No, it isn't just you....Kinda reminds me of the old antique bed springs that one used to see laying around for the trashman to pick up...doesn't it?
I guess that anyone can take some scrap metal, bend it twist it and weld it
up it and call it furniture or artwork if they want to...but it still doesn't impress me one bit!

I dunno. I think they look kinda funky. I don't like the colors though. With cushions they could be comfortable but as Lee said, they need a beverage holder.
