    He Done Did Good!

This article was in one of the local papers this morning. An Eagle Scout's project to get his award:

Wow! Good for him and good for all the young atheletes who will benefit from has actions. It makes you wish you could aspire to what this 15 year old has managed to acheive. Although there are many projects to help people with disabilities, there is just never enough done to make them feel as though they are like every other boy or girl. To see the heart ache in their eyes as they struggle to do what we take for granted is upsetting. But I'm rambling.

What a great thing to get done for your fellow human beings! I have a feeling that kid is going far in this world. He's a rare one.

That is a story that deserves national attention.

So often, when a boy reaches Eagle at that young, he has been pushed and 'helped' with a lot of the requirements. Reading what this young man took on and accomplished, there is no doubt in my mind he earned everything along the way!
