I've read the HP books several times and watched the movies several times, so I'm a bit of a buff on it as well. The latter movies are somewhat disjointed because they had to boil 700+ page books down to a 2.5 hour movie, it just doesn't work. He is a bit whiney, as he's a teenager, and I think that's just life.

As to bond, long live Pierce Brosnan, sad that he wasn't bond when he first should have been. Sean Connery is of course the best, but I've enjoyed the Daniel Craig bonds. Grittier, much like that last 2 batman movies.

I know that, but even allowing for that, he still needs to just shut up and deal with it sometimes. I dunno. I guess I like my heroes to not sit around and wonder 'why me"' all the time.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

I guess those of us whose children are in the same age range have just learned to block the whining out
