What has taken me so long to adjust to is the selective enforcement of rules that women make part of their lives. One day X is okay, while that very same X executed in the same way, to the same degree, for the same amount of time is not okay...

Women are just one of the many ways God chooses to show us men that we are not the masters of this universe

Maybe the present roles date back to the cave man/woman. He would bash his pick and drag her back to the cave, go hunt, and make life's decisions instantly and somewhat pragmatically. She would clean the cave (hopefully for her), cook, and weave some coverups, and make little cavepeople.

Today's world, we still have the cave, but she read some books on equality, and has her own club, which is more like a bargaining weapon. I have no problem with that.

If your wife is rubbing the customers in any way, perhaps it's time for a talk? After all, it is a business!

What drives me crazy is whe my wife asks my what I'm thinking about. Half the time it's about something stupid or about a project I'm trying to figure out in my head. When I tell her what I'm thinking about she then asks for the whole back story as to why I'm thinking about that. I even get in trouble for thinking about things I shouldn't worry about, such as my rental property that I own. I have had terrible luck with it and my wife hates that it worries me.

          Oh well.

If you ask me, it all went to $hit when they were given the right to vote.

What law says they are equal? There is no passed equal rights amendment.

I think the ERA has become irrelevant. If you think wimin's rights as a workplace minority are not protected, I suggest you announce that all the women within an organization are being replaced by men and see how far you get.

In addition, most women see themselves as equal to men (and I'm not taking a position here). So whether you think they are equal or not is immaterial when it comes to dealing with them as customers.

I understand some of the equality in the workplace, as well as glass ceilings, parental rights, and other issues. I just read that you stated there was an equality law, maybe I misread it.

It just burns me, due to dealing with women who "want equality" without having to do the same job (can you lift this for me), then expect you to open the doors for them, etc.
Choose, and expect to get treated like your choice and don't whine about it (yes I have had this conversation with a few women).

This reminds me of The Man Show episode where they had petitions to End Women's Suffrage.
