    Sunhill Machinery Deceased?

    Tried to look at Sunhill Machinery this evening; their web pages are either down or linked to somewhere obscure. Anyone know if they are still in business?

    It looks like the people that run Sunhill's website have totally borked up the server... I think they are using a cheapo web host that screwed up their Apache config files...

      I'm wondering if they weren't hacked. Was looking at the page source and found this:

      link href="http://jamesonford.com/templates/yt_firefly/css/iehacks.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
      <![endif]-->
      <!--[if IE 7]>
      <link href="http://jamesonford.com/templates/yt_firefly/css/ie7hacks.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
      <![endif]-->
      <!--[if IE 6]>
      <link href="http://jamesonford.com/templates/yt_firefly/css/ie6hacks.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
      <![endif]-->
      <!--[if IE 6]>
      <link href="http://jamesonford.com/templates/yt_firefly/css/white/white-ie6hacks.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
      <![endif]-->

      Also noticed parts of the page are in Latin if I'm not mistaken (long time since they altar boy days)
      Not a language used a whole lot these days.

        They weren't hacked. Those IE7 and IE6 entries are in there so that if a person is using IE6 or IE7 those entries are processed to make pages format correctly.

        The pages were probably developed under Dreamweaver. When you generate a new page in Dreamweaver it fills it with Latin text as a placeholder.

        Somebody borked up the web server and it is resolving sunhillmachinery.com to the wrong server.

          Or more likely the wrong virtual site on the same web host...

            Ah, it looks like their web deveopers are pushing a new Sunhill Machinery web site up. There is new data there now, with the Sunhill name...

              Interesting. I get some page about Jameson Ford and Associates.

              As far as the virtual server goes, that too.

                Site seems to be working this morning.

                  Yup. Working now. I guess it took the changes a while to propogate across the various DNS servers.
