Something Interesting I Discovered By Accident

If you are running Windows XP, hold Ctrl+Alt and Press the down arrow on your keyboard. I could have some fun with this one.

Hmm, it just scrolls down my browser window. Same thing happens without holding the ctrl-alt.

*edit I'm glad it didn't work on mine. I hate what that is supposed to do.

Hmm... maybe it is the video driver y'all have. On mine it flips the image on the screen upside-down.

on many machine, particularly Dells, CTRL-ALT-(arrowkey) rotates the screen for those I guess who have strange mountings or even the portrait mounting of thier screen. IIRC down arrow does 180 degree change, rt and left do +/- 90 degree rotations.
I found that out acidentally on my wife's Dell when in a fit of rage I banged on the keyboard and then could not get the screen upside right again.
there's a place in the setup where you can disable this... for those of you that it doesn't work, this may be the case. I disabled it on my wife's computer; can be real frustrating if you get there accidentally and can't get it right side up again, especailly if yo have a laptop and the display is hard connected to the keyboard...

I guess it depends on the video driver. My wife's laptop wont do it either.

doesn't work on our e-machines box, but I have a cordless keyboard on it if that makes a difference.
