        Actually, the fact they're on the bank sunning themselves 'probably' means they've fed and they need the sun to digest. Not too dangerous. Now if they're lurking in the water near the edge...

        Considering the ederly snow bird drivers, personally, I'll risk the alligators.

                I think this may be a photo taken in some kind of nature preserve. Notice the angle-top posts that may contain placards of some kind. Don't think you'd want to get close enough to actually read them, though...
