    It Occurred To Me

'long about hole #10 after leveling the form and filling it with concrete that it might have been easier just to dig the holes, fill to ground level and use 6x6 posts to hold up the 6x6 beam. Just level the beam on temporary blocks and cut each post to length. I certainly would have used less concrete and not had to buy the forms. That is how I built my deck. I poured the footings, then I did a mockup of 2x4s, put it on temporary legs, leveled it and cut each post to length.

Oh well. I am d-u-n. After the concrete cures for a couple days I will put the beams on.

This way you will never have to crawl under the shop to replace a rotten post.

      Exactly my thoughts...

Sure it's a PITA, but of course you could have gone and simply done a slab.... Not sure if that is appropriate where you are though.. Pier & beam may be a better arrangement for you...
