    Is this just for a touch up or a complete reshaping?

          I like to get all the power tools that I can, but without someway to control the bleeding and fact that there's only so much raw material to work with.... I think I'll skip this one.

              nope the belt sander is mounted on 1 endbell and the extension shaft is mounted on the other endbell.

                If you get too close to it, you'll need an extension shaft ....

                  With that you won't need your BT3. Just sand off the wood you don't want
