    new air pistola

I'm kinda juiced with my new air pistol.
This one I got for accuracy, a CO2 powered, single shot, 520FPS .177 caliber.
Here's a couple of targets shot at 10 meters, 5 pellets each. One of them I think 4 pellets went into the same hole.
Now, I just need to learn to do this handheld, instead of from a bench rest.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

    Very Cool

I was really really impressed by the accuracy of a pistol shots at ten meters until I got to
Now, I just need to learn to do this handheld, instead of from a bench rest.
Still extremely accurate and a very nice toy!

If it won't take out an armadillo, I don't need it.

I do actually have one that looks similar to this one. No way is it anywhere near that accurate. No scope either. It is also a pump and not gas. Mine certainly is a toy. This one I think it a big step above that.
You could hold your own turkey shoots with this one.

That's an impressive looking pistol, but lets see the first 137 targets. With a scope and a hand rest you should be able to take out a gnat's eye at 50ft. Maybe a red dot would help.

Now, seriously speaking, you've got to take off that scope and learn point-and-shoot. Hitting bulls eyes in the middle of a back flip, or while running backwards blindfolded across your yard would impress the heck out of me.

          Heck,

I'd rather use a hand grenade, or a bloop gun.

A heck of a lot more fun than an air pistol, 'cause your aim ain't too important.

Careful kid, you'll shoot your eye out. Have fun with it until you do.

I actually has a student earlier this year that DID put his eye out with an air rifle. First time I'd ever heard of anyone actually doing it...

                        Loring,

Did you order that from their custom shop? I've been really wanting to get a more 'serious' air gun - rifle or pistol - capable of good accuracy and I'm looking pretty hard at the 2300S or a Discovery... although playing 'what if' in their custom shop on their website makes for some good entertainment as well

                          That's a nice looking pistol.
I have a pump one that I use for dealing with vermin, never did get around to mounting a scope on it but it seems accurate enough for the job.

Yeah that's a Crosman Custom Shop gun - must have built several dozen models on the web before i ordered one. Chronographs right at 520 FPS per spec with 7.9 grain pellets. PM or e-mail me if you want more info.
