I am out in the "almost" countryside of Japan at a week long conference, halfway between Tokyo and Nagoya. The place is a nice retreat/conference center that was built by the Yamaha founder. It is called "Tsumagoi" in which Mr. Yamaha himself named. "Tsuma" refers to the "Wife" in a very polite and respectfully, which is rare in this country. "Goi" is a variation of the word "koi" which means "sweetheart". There are a lot of conferences as well as weddings and wedding parties held here.
Winter is the off season here, so rates are lower. This place can hold about a 1000 people. The "location" is a welcome break from the big cities.
