    Tests Done; Got An "A"

Everything went off with out a hitch. As they preped me in the OR, the anesthetist said he was just going to give me something to relax me. I guess it worked because the next thing I knew, the nurse was gently waking me in the recovery room. The report said no polyps and no biopsy was taken. Aside for the meeting with the surgeon in February, I won't have to go back for five years when they recommend I go for another.

As for the actual procedure, if it wasn't for the prep day, I didn't mind it at all. In fact I had a great nap in the OR and I only wish the nurse let me sleep longer.

          Congratulations!
Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! -Rocky Balboa-

No polyps?! I've had a dozen of these and never came up with no polyps! Then again, the doctor is kind of fond of me.....Maybe next time I'll ask to see the pics!

Good for you Richard and I agree about the sleep. No polyps is great news. You must be eating right or have very good genes.

Great news, Richard! Not a problem at all, once you get past the cleanout stage.

Mine was elective, recommended by the doctor at my last physical, strictly because of my age. Glad I opted for it. They removed 8 polyps, none of any concern. Scheduled for the next one in three years.

If your doctor suggests it, do it!

Glad everything went OK and no problem was found. As you said the hardest part is the preparation. Who knows, in five years they may come up with something a little easier!
