It started snowing about 4 am this morning, it's now 9:05 and it's still coming down temp is 24 degrees. Both pictures are from my front porch.

Hmmm . . . . Snow in Sequim? I have a friend who lives in Hansville, but escaped to there from Anchorage several years ago. I'll have to send him an email to see if he remembers what real snow is like.

We have about fifteen inches on the ground, but it has warmed up to about 20 above.

Hansville - 28 degrees blowing snow, 1/2 mile visibility. We missed most of what Whaler got yesterday, but getting a few inches today. Over the last weekend we got powder, which is unusual, as we normally get the big flake wet stuff when we get snow.

When I went to work last night just before 10 and it was snowing then. It has snowed all night and it is now almost 11 and its still snowing. I am not sure how much we have on the ground but its 15 degrees outside and my feet are freezing right now with socks and slippers on. I don't mind the weather but I hate my feet being cold....

Just be careful over that way Dick, some people don't know how to drive in this stuff.

You can have your boring Florida climate. It was 8 degrees and snowing here a couple nights ago. Shoveled snow all this morning. In six months it'll be in the low 90's and we'll be worried about wildfires. A range like that keeps things interesting

It can get scary, when you see jacked up 4 wheel drive pick ups in the ditch, then it all comes down to the nut behind the wheel.

Boring is great!
Warm and sunny, sunny and cool, cool and a little rain, warm and little rain, hot, not so hot, or a FREAKIN' HURRICANE!

Yesterday was a miserable day. Real warm at 78, sunny and breezy. Thank god the AC works.

According to the local weather observer (aka LOML), there's 18 inches of powder on our deck at Tahoe, another foot due tonight, yet another foot due over the weekend, and a snowstorm late next week.

I feel for the guys who are building our house up there and don't have a roof on yet. Cold, snow, yuck!

NO pictures yet, but we got 3 feet in the last four days at the new house location in Sunny Southern California (Idyllwild, Ca.) Going up tomorrow or the next day when the road is open. Will take some pics then.
