    Right now, where you live?

What's happening right now where you live?

For me this Web Cam down in the harbor shows what is happening on the Sunny Oregon Coast.

Got a CAM showing what it's like in your neck of the woods?

Nice shot of Houston, I have never been there, drove by on I35 once.

Those of you thinking of going south this winter for some warm weather should check out this web cam of summer way down south.

This one is a pretty cool cam that gives a 360 pan all around the Charleston harbor. It is toward the bottom of the page.

I have driven through that area, have to say it's a bit different from our end of US 101.

Traffic cam on US101 in Port Orford, OR about an hour north of me.

Charleston Harbor looks cool too and I have been on the beach just north of Ft. Lauderdale and up around Indian River.

Here is what it's like where I grew up.

I was just on a river cruise from Amsterdam to Germany. They had a webcam in the bow of the ship. You could watch the entire cruise without ever leaving your bed, if you were so inclined.

Heck the Princess Lines cruise ships all have web cams on their bridges, linked to the internet via satellite. you can see what the captain sees from your armchair at home. Why leave the house on your next cruise? Oh, well, you won't get the tropical drinks with the little colorful umbrellas.

You can select any ship... it works best to select one thats in the daytime wherever it is in the world. The ones at night sometimes just show inky blackness.

I think web cams are great. At any time of the day you can watch a sunset or sunrise. See it snowing, raining or watch people cavort on a beach. I am waiting for someone to set one up in their shop. Perhaps BT3 can have a web cam page where we can see who is working in their shop and who is..... well perhaps not such a good idea.

I failed to consider when I started this thread that many of you are only on at night and as web cams are live most showed only black. Sorry about that.

There are many sites that list cams all over the world, this is only one of them. I enjoyed seeing what it is like in your neighborhood and hope more will add to the thread.

Bill, on the Sunny Oregon Coast, where it should be raining
