I've never owned one, but touring the Harley Davidson Power Plant after the Milwaukee woodworking show a few years ago nearly changed that. I don't "plan" to buy one, but it will probably happen eventually.

I'm 70 now and had a bit of heart trouble 10 years ago and gave up my BMW 80RT.

I still find myself looking at motorcycle and dream of the camaraderie and freedom I enjoyed in the past.

My first was a little Honda scooter (50cc). That was followed by a string of dirt bikes that evolved into a Honda Gold Wing in the late 70's. I rode that one till '85 when I had 2 close calls in 3 days followed by the third and last which was getting run off the levy on I-55 heading out of Memphi doing 75 MPH. It's amazing how many times you can try and kick something that heavy out of the way while you are airborn so you don't land on it or worse yet, it land on you. That was the last time I road one.

I ride a Suzuki DRZ400s Dual Sport. I love riding it on the weekends in the dirt but it is not comfortable as a commuter and I kinda like having a radio and windshield wipers.
