Turned onto the on-ramp on the way to work today. Ahead of me I saw a Toyota Celica attempt to merge into the tracks of a monster backhoe riding on a flatbed. I stopped long enough to see if the driver was ok. I guess he was. He got out, surveyed the damage and started swearing. I couldn't hear him but from the body language he probably was.

I bet the Celica guy thought the backhoe would swerve over a lane to let him in. Too many drivers think that turn signals signal their right and not intention. Well, if they decide to use them. We have a busy street here in town that requires the use of the right hand lane to continue on going thru town. Many drivers think they can speed up the left lane and own the right to merge back to the right.Sometimes the old man passed out and left the am radio on so I got to hear the oldie songs and current event kind of thingsComment

I think we have the same driving school up here. Unfortunately, you have to adopt similar driving habits to survive a freeway trip. From the "deep south" part of Canada
