Rebuilt 21" sander BE321VS?

I know that Ryobi has discontinued this wonderful sander. Which I got stolen from me some time ago. If I had ever thought they would discontinue it, without replacing it with another model, I would not have waited to buy another. Imagine my surprise.

So now I was referred to a possible source for a rebuild, "Cummins". But they make diesel engines, no? Looking at them in Google, there isn't much encouraging.

It's a different Cummins, and I think they are now going by a different name to avoid the confusion. They periodically have truck tool sales all over the place. They sell refurbed Ryobi and Ridgid, as well as their own HF quality stuff.

Yeah, I dragged my feet on that particular sander myself... I see the reconditioned price is the same as it was new...

Hah! Found them just where you said. Thanks very much. Also, after posting, I found that Amazon.com offers one for $60-70, no shipping for orders that size. Now if I can manage to save up the money AND get my wife a present for Christmas ...
